Civic Core Institute provides a political transparency platform aggregating publicly available data about UK Members of Parliament, including:

- Voting records
- Parliamentary expenses
- Political donations
- Constituency information
3. Data Sources and Attribution
All data presented on this platform is sourced from official public records including:
- UK Parliament Members API
- Electoral Commission
- Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA)
- Register of Members' Financial Interests
- Companies House
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the UK Government, Parliament, or any government agency.
4. Accuracy Disclaimer & Independent Verification
All data on this platform must be independently verified before being relied upon. Information is aggregated automatically from public sources (Parliament APIs, ONS, IPSA, Electoral Commission, Companies House, NOMIS, DfE, HMRC, MOJ, Police UK, DWP and others). Source data may contain errors, be out of date, or be misinterpreted by our pipelines. Pages on this platform are intended as research aids, not as authoritative or legally definitive records.
The Civic Core Institute, its operators, contributors, and any associated parties accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, reputational harm, legal exposure, financial decision, journalistic claim, or other consequence arising from the use of data presented on this platform, including data that turns out to be inaccurate, incomplete, stale, or wrongly attributed. If you intend to publish, broadcast, litigate, or take any decision in reliance on data shown here, you must independently verify it with the original source.
Data is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Analysis and derived metrics (vulnerability scores, conflict-of-interest flags, donor-contract proximity, integrity signals, projections and any other algorithmically-computed indicators) represent statistical assessments only and must not be construed as accusations of wrongdoing or as legal findings against any named person or organisation.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Scrape or harvest data in violation of our API terms
- Misrepresent data or analysis as official government information
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or threaten individuals
- Redistribute data commercially without an API subscription
6. API Access
Access to the Civic Core Institute API is subject to separate API Terms of Use. Commercial use requires a paid subscription.
7. Intellectual Property
The underlying data is derived from public records and is not subject to our copyright. However, our platform design, analysis methodologies, derived metrics, and software are proprietary.
You may cite and link to our platform with appropriate attribution. Bulk data access requires API subscription.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Civic Core Institute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Civic Core Institute from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
